Community rules
1. What the Floor is for
The Studio Floor is where players and the studios that make slot games talk about the games: design, features, maths, art, sound, ideas and events. These rules apply to everyone on the Floor, players and studio teams alike, on top of the Studio Floor Terms.
The Floor is about games as entertainment products. It is not a place to gamble, arrange gambling, or give or receive gambling advice.
2. Be decent
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, insults, threats, hate or slurs, and no targeting someone for who they are.
No sexual or graphic violent content.
Don't pile on. If a thread turns into an argument, step away or report it.
3. No casino promotion, from anyone
- No casino or sportsbook links, affiliate or referral links, or tracking links.
- No bonus or promo codes, deposit, welcome or no-deposit offers, or invitations to play for real money.
- No asking others to deposit, wager or sign up anywhere.
- Clips and screenshots may show a game. Crop out referral codes, operator promotions and anyone else's personal data.
Studio spaces are B2B: posts from studio teams that contain any of the above are blocked automatically, except links to the studio's own website. Player posts with promotion are flagged for moderators.
4. Honest reviews and votes
One review per player per slot, about your own experience of the game. Scores are opinions, not test results, and say nothing about how a game pays out at any casino.
No vote or reaction manipulation, and no second accounts to inflate reviews, votes, reactions or polls.
Studios may not offer anything for a review or rating, and may not ask anyone to change or remove one. Studios cannot remove reviews of their own games; only CasinoHub's Floor moderators can, and only when a review breaks these rules.
5. Ideas belong to the people who had them
Idea cards are timestamped and hashed so it is always clear who pitched what, and when. Don't post someone else's idea, art or work as your own; report copies with the reason “Copied idea or content”.
What happens inside an invite-only Idea Lab stays there: it is covered by the Idea Lab confidentiality terms. CasinoHub moderators may read Lab content only to enforce these rules.
6. Safety
You must be 18 or older to take part. Report anyone who appears to be under 18.
If someone seems to be struggling with gambling, or may harm themselves, report it with “Someone may need help”. Moderators reach out with support resources. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Don't share anyone's personal data (real name, address, contact details, account details) without their permission, and don't impersonate a studio, a streamer, a moderator or CasinoHub. Verified studio accounts carry the Official badge; streamers who signed in with the Twitch or Kick account connected to their CasinoHub profile carry the Streamer badge.
7. Links and new accounts
New accounts can't post links straight away. Taking part (useful reviews, upvoted answers) earns reputation, which unlocks links and idea cards. Reputation can't be bought, has no cash value, and can be lost when moderators remove content that breaks these rules.
8. Reporting
Use the Report button on a post, thread, idea card or player and pick what is wrong. You can add a note. Reports go to moderators only: the author never learns who reported them, and neither does the studio.
What you can report:
- Spam: Repeated posts, ads or bot activity.
- Casino promotion: Casino or affiliate links, bonus codes, deposit offers.
- Harassment or hate: Insults, threats, slurs or targeting someone.
- Sexual or violent content: Explicit or graphic material.
- Under 18: The author appears to be younger than 18.
- Someone may need help: Signs of gambling harm or self-harm. We reach out with support.
- Impersonation: Pretends to be a studio, a streamer or CasinoHub.
- Personal data: Shares someone's private information.
- Copied idea or content: Someone else's idea, art or work posted as their own.
- Misleading claims: Fake RTP, payout or win claims.
- Off topic: Not about the games or the studio.
- Something else: Tell us in the note.
You get a notification when your report has been handled. Reports that moderators uphold earn a little reputation; filing reports in bad faith is itself a breach of these rules.
9. Who moderates
CasinoHub's Floor moderators (CasinoHub admins and moderators appointed by them) look after the whole Floor.
Each verified studio's lead and community managers may hide player posts in their own studio's space when they break these rules. They cannot hide reviews of their own games, restrict accounts, or act outside their own space. Every action, by anyone, is logged.
10. What happens when rules are broken
Moderators can hide a post, thread or idea card, lock a thread, or restrict an account. When something of yours is hidden you are told which rule it broke. Content removed by CasinoHub's moderators costs reputation.
A restriction means you can still read the Floor but can't post, vote, react or pitch ideas. Restrictions last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or until lifted, depending on how serious and how repeated the breach is. Threats, content involving minors, sharing personal data and organised manipulation can lead to an immediate restriction.
A studio that breaks these rules can lose its verification, which removes the Official badge and its ability to open threads.
11. Appeals
If you think a decision was wrong, write to contact@casinohub.app within 30 days with a link to the content and why. Where possible, someone other than the original moderator reviews it, and we aim to reply within 7 days. Studios can contest moderation in their space the same way.
12. Changes
We update these rules as the Floor grows. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes are announced on the Floor.
